1964 Alan completed his apprenticeship at a Volkswagen dealership in Glen Innes
1966 married Jan & moved to Stokers Siding to live
1970/71 - started repairing cars for friends & neighbours from his home
1972 purchased a vacant service station in the village of Stokers Siding
1980 made conscious decision to deal exclusively with Volkswagens
Business expanded dramatically to become the largest supplier of new & used parts between Southport and Newcastle
1987 purchased house next door to stock parts & office
1991 started expansion/renovations to both buildings to combine as one
